Why We Started

JBird Bikes was founded with a simple mission: to give New Orleans residents access to affordable, reliable electric bikes — with the full service and peace of mind that online retailers simply can't provide.

We saw a gap in the market. People were buying eBikes online, struggling with assembly, and having nowhere local to turn when something went wrong. We decided to fix that.

Every bike we sell comes professionally assembled, safety-inspected, and backed by our local team. You ride away confident. And if anything ever needs attention, we're right here — on the Greenway, ready to help.

We chose our location deliberately. The Lafitte Greenway is the heart of New Orleans cycling — a 2.6-mile linear park and trail connecting Mid-City to the French Quarter. Being right on the Greenway means we serve everyone: commuters, recreational riders, eBike owners, and pedal cyclists of all kinds. Stop in, test ride, and ride home the same day.
